MEGABABE VS OLD SPICE REVIEW
I have been using Old Spice deodorant for as long as I can remember. If I had to take a guess, I probably started using it in high school or college. The main reason I’ve stuck with it for so long is because I feel like it works way better for me then other women’s branded deodorants on the market. This is probably a little TMI, but on the scale of barely sweating to sweating a ton, I’m definitely past the mid way point so that’s why I’ve used Old Spice for ages.
Recently, though I learned that Megababe launched their Rosy Pits deodorant. After seeing a few reviews on Instagram that people were subbing out their Old Spice for Megababe, I decided to give it a try. So far I’ve been using it for a week and wanted to share my thoughts so far.
What I loved…
- Smell - I’m obsessed with the rose scent! It’s amazing! It’s a really nice change after using a men’s deodorant for years.
- Long-lasting - Overall, I’ve found that Megababe lasts as long as Old Spice. While I did have to reapply it one day, I’ve also had days where I’ve had to reapply my Old Spice. I give it a thumbs up in this department!
What could be better…
- Price - I think the only thing that’s making me hesitate about purchasing again is the price tag ($18 for 2.6 oz) vs Old Spice ($4 for 3.0 oz). While it is on the expensive side, they use a different formulation and ingredients than other mass market brands. Also it is aluminum and paraben free. I probably will still buy this deodorant as a treat yourself every once in a while since I can't resist the smell.
