REDENIM PERSONAL SHOPPING REVIEW
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll know that I’m always on the hunt for denim. While I’ve managed to find some reliable brands for me like Levi’s and Everlane, I’m always open to trying new brands. One company I recently found through Instagram is called Redenim, which is dedicated to helping women find high-quality, premium denim that fits them. So I decided to give them a try :)
Overall, I had a good experience with the brand. Their fit quiz was really straightforward and simple. It mostly consists of questions trying to understand your size, body shape and jean style preferences. I’d estimate it took me about 10 minutes to fill out the quiz. If you tried Stitch Fix and taken their quiz before, the Redenim one asks similar questions - it’s just not as time consuming as the Stitch Fix one.
Once, I was finished with my quiz, I signed up to have my denim box delivered to me. For a styling fee of $19, they send 3 different denim styles. Then I was able to keep the box for 7 days as I tried on all of the styles they sent me.
Since I primarily wear high-waisted skinny jeans that what I requested they send me in my box! At the time of ordering, I was on the hunt for new black jeans because I sadly busted the zipper on my American Eagles ones.
They sent a good mix of brands that were at different price points, ranging from $60 - $110. Out of all the styles I tried on the pair of Blank NYC was my favorite. However, they were still a little bit long on me and bunched up around the ankle. Since they weren’t absolutely perfect, I wasn’t able to stomach the price of $98. Especially since I’ve been able to find jeans from other brands that are a better length for me.
If you truly hate shopping for jeans, they definitely offer a great service! Best part is you get free shipping both ways so you don’t have to worry about that. Additionally, unlike Stitch Fix, you aren’t locked into a reoccurring subscription. You only order a box when you’re specifically shopping for jeans. Keep in mind, they focus on more premium denim so most styles they send are going to be over $60. I would recommend knowing and setting you budget ahead of time.
While I loved not having to deal with the guesswork that occurs when you go to the store and try on jeans, I probably won’t use this service because I still enjoy getting to pick the styles out myself. However, if you’re time strapped and want someone to pick out styles for you then I think it’s a wonderful solution!
