ESHAKTI CUSTOM JUMPSUIT REVIEW
Jumpsuits can be a tough category to shop for when you’re petite and pear-shaped! The most common issues I run into are the legs being too long or the hip area being too tight. In the past, I’ve mostly shopped in the petite section to find jumpsuits. While this usually fixes the length issue, it doesn’t always fix the fit issues I experience in the hip area. So I decided to try out having a jumpsuit custom made to my measurements from eShakti.
eShakti lets you either buy the jumpsuit in a standard size or tailored to your specific body measurements. If you decide to get a piece of clothing on their website tailored to measurements, I definitely recommend grabbing a friend to help you with taking your measurements. Some of them are a little tricky with out the help of a friend. In total, it probably took me 15-20 minutes to take my measurements.
If you are interested in trying them out, you can get $25 off your first purchase and free customization on your first order here.
What I loved…
Belted waist - I love that this jumpsuit has a defined waistline because it highlights the narrowest part of my pear shape and emphasizes my hips.
V-neckline - This is one of my favorite necklines since it.
Wide-leg - Usually I shy away from wide-leg pants because I’m worried they’ll make my thighs and hips look bigger. However, I found the silhouette very flattering for my shape.
What could have been better…
Fabric - I wish the fabric was a little bit nicer. It’s super comfortable since it’s jersey, but it looks a little faded in person.
Zipper - I wasn’t a fan of the zipper smack dab in the middle of the neckline. I would have prefered the zipper was on the side or in the back.
Bust = 32’’
Waist = 28’’
Inseam = 28.5’’
Front rise = 13’’
Back rise = 17’’
Verdict: Would recommend! It was a such great feeling having the jumpsuit fit me right when I got it! I didn’t have to go through the process of trying on a bunch of different jumpsuits in the store just to find one that fit me.
