REFORMATION FALL PETITES REVIEW

REFORMATION FALL PETITES REVIEW

Over the past few years, Reformation has been on again off again with their petites line. Happy to see they are on again for the time being. Being able to buy petite sizes, means that you can actually find pants and midi length dresses/skirts that are the proper length. In this post, I’m reviewing their fall petite styles as well as a few petite-friendly tops from their main line.

Reformation Petites Marlon Pant - Size 6 Petite

What I loved…

  • So comfy - These pants were so comfortable! It hardly felt like I was wearing them. They have some stretch, which is great.

  • High-waisted - I’m always a fan of rise-pants because they emphasize my curves. Also I generally find that I don’t have a waist gap in the back with high rise pants.

  • Nice fit - I found these pants to be super flattering for my shape.

What could have better…

  • A little tight in knee area - If you look at the side view picture, you’ll notice there’s a drag line around the knee. It was a slightly snug, but not too noticeable.

Garment measurements:

Front rise = 11.5’’

Back rise = 14.5’’

Inseam = 24.25’’

Waist = 27.5’’

Hips = 35’’

Thigh = 22’’

Verdict: Buy!

Reformation Petites Lemongrass Jumpsuit - Size 6 Petite

What I loved…

  • Deep V-neck - As I’ve mentioned before, I love a deep v-neck because it compliments by body shape. I feel like this one looks very tasteful.

  • Color - This color is so stunning!

What could have been better…

  • Too long - I was little disappointed because this jumpsuit is a petite size and it still was too long for me. I think even wore heels it would still be too long. If I did buy it, I would definitely need to tailor it.

  • Tight in hip area - I will say this jumpsuit is a little snug in the hip area. Definitely had to a bit of dance to get it on.

Garment measurements:

Front rise = 13’’

Back rise = 15.75’’

Inseam = 29.5’’

Waist = 27’’

Thigh = 25’’

Hips = 39’’

Verdict: Don’t buy, shop around.

Reformation Petites Locklin Dress - Size 6 Petite

What I loved…

  • Midi length - This is a great length for fall! If you’re petite - don’t hesitate you can definitely pull off this length. The key is just buying a style this actually petite.

  • Silhouette - In the past, most of Reformation’s dresses have had a slightly funny fit for me, especially in the shoulder area. I found this dress fit quite well and was super comfortable.

Garment measurements:

Center front = 42’’

Bust = 33.5’’

Waist = 28’’

Hips = 40.5’’

Center back = 41.5’’

Verdict: Buy!

Reformation Petites Hermosa Skirt - Size 6 Petite

What I loved…

  • A-line silhouette - I love this skirt shape because it compliments by body shape. Also I like how it emphasizes the smallness of my waist.

  • Midi length - Similar to the dress, I’m loving this length because it’s great for fall. Since this skirt is a petite size, it falls exactly where it should for us shorties :)

Garment measurements:

Waist = 26.5’’

Center front = 28.5’’

Hips = 42’’

Verdict: Buy!

Reformation Nikki Top - Size M

What I loved…

  • V-neck - I generally prefer v-neck tops because they emphasize what little I do have :)

  • Cropped length - Since I have a short torso, I loved the length of this top. It sat right around the top of high-rise jeans.

What could have been better…

  • Too big in bust - Ran into one of my classic pear problems with this top, it was way too big in the chest area. I often have this issue due to my small bust.

  • Sleeves too long - The sleeves were a little too long and kind of bunched up around my wrists.

Garment measurements:

Center front = 19’’

Bust = 35’’

Center back = 21.25’’

Sleeve length = 30.38’’

Verdict: Don’t buy, shop around.

Reformation Reign Top - Size 6

What I loved…

  • Cropped length - This top was the perfect length for my short torso!

  • Unique silhouette - I loved the square neckline of this top. I don’t have many tops like this in my closet.

What could be better…

  • Tight in bust area - Generally, I don’t have this problem. However, I found that this top was a little tight for me in the bust area. Also definitely recommend wearing a strapless bra with this top.

Garment measurements:

Bust = 28’’

Center front = 12.13’’

Bottom opening = 13.5’’

Verdict: Buy!
