Tobi Slip Swing Dress - Size M

What I loved...

  • Silhouette - Usually I shy away from slip dresses like this because they don't have waist definition and I worry they will look like a trash bag on me. Luckily this dress did not overwhelm my petite frame!

  • V-neckline - One feature of this dress that I think kept it from looking frumpy on me is the v-neckline. The neckline helps to balance out the dress for my pear-shaped body. It's a visual element that helps break up the dress a little and accentuates my shoulder/bust area at the same time.

What could have be better...

  • A little roomy - I probably could have ordered a size down on this dress because it was slightly big on me. If you're normally in between sizes, consider sizing down.

  • A little too long - The hemline of this dress was a little longer than I wanted because it fell right at my knees. Ideally I would have preferred the hemline to fall an inch or two above my knees to enlongate my legs more. I think going a size down would likely solve this.

Garment measurements:

Bust = 36''

Length = 33''

Waist = 29''
