Hi.

I'm Kristin! A short & curvy girl seeking clothes that fit. Originally from the South, I'm now taking on NYC! My blog is dedicated to providing style and fit guides for petite-pear shaped women.

Extended Style Notes

Old Navy Go-Dry Keyhole Back Tank - Size Petite S

What I loved…

  • Ideal length -  Not only does Old Navy offer petite sizing in their leggings, but also their workout tops. They are one of the few clothing lines that offers a full range activewear. Since I have a short torso, I appreciate when I can buy a top in a petite size so it’s not too long on me. (Center front = 21.75’’)

  • Keyhole back - This is such a cool detail on this top! At first, I couldn’t figure out what kind of sports bra to wear underneath, but then I tried layering a strappy sports bra underneath and thought the effect looked pretty awesome.

Garment measurements:

Center front = 21.75'''

Neck drop = 5''

Bust = 31''

Center back = 23.75''

Athleta Capri Leggings - Size M

What I loved…

  • Fit -  Over the course of this blog series you have probably noticed that I buy a lot of my workout clothes from Athleta. I love their workout clothes because they have more generous sizing than say Lululemon. Even though there is spandex involved when it comes to activewear, as a girl with some curves I appreciate a brand that’s cut with my figure in mind.

What could be better…

  • Length -  These capri leggings are slightly long on me (Inseam measurement = 19.5’’). The reason I didn’t buy in a petite size is because I found them on the sale rack in the store and couldn’t pass up a good deal.

Garment measurements:

Waist = 28.5''

Rise = 8''

Inseam = 19.5''
