Hi.

I'm Kristin! A short & curvy girl seeking clothes that fit. Originally from the South, I'm now taking on NYC! My blog is dedicated to providing style and fit guides for petite-pear shaped women.

Extended Workout Notes

Lululemon Top - Size 6

What I loved…

  • Lululemon’s complimentary hemming service -  While I’m not the biggest Lululemon fan, one of my favorite services that they offer is free hemming of any clothing item you buy in the store.  See details on their blog here. There service made this top the perfect fit for me (Center front measurement = 16.5’). This is probably the only workout top that I own which isn’t too long for my short torso.

What could be better…

  • Criss-cross straps - When I bought this top I thought the criss-cross straps in the back looked cool, but now they get on my nerves a little bit because they sometimes get twisted or don’t sit just right.

Garment measurements:

Center front = 16.5''

Bust = 28.5''

Athleta Capri Leggings - Size M

What I loved…

  • Fit -  Over the course of this blog series you have probably noticed that I buy a lot of my workout clothes from Athleta. I love their workout clothes because they have more generous sizing than say Lululemon. Even though there is spandex involved when it comes to activewear, as a girl with some curves I appreciate a brand that’s cut with my figure in mind.

What could be better…

  • Length -  These capri leggings are slightly long on me (Inseam measurement = 19.5’’). The reason I didn’t buy in a petite size is because I found them on the sale rack in the store and couldn’t pass up a good deal.

Garment measurements:

Waist = 28.5''

Rise = 8''

Inseam = 19.5''
