Extended Style Notes

H&M Tank Top - Size S

What I loved…

  • Form-fitted & stretchy-  I’m a big fan of form-fitting, stretchy tank tops that I can easily tuck into my shorts/skirts because this simple trick highlights the narrowness of my waist and puts focus on the beautiful print of the shorts.
  • Beat the heat -  Since it was 90 degrees when we were in Manila it was a 100% necessary to wear a tank top to stay cool! Wearing a tank top helped but we still spent lots of time inside whenever we could find air-conditioning!

What could be better…

  • A little long -  Since this tank didn’t come in a petite size it was a little long for my short torso so I just folded under the excess fabric as a quick fix. (Center back = 22’’)

Garment measurements:

Center front drop = 4.75''

Center front = 17''

Bust = 30''

Center back = 22''

Forever 21 - Drawstring Shorts - Size S

What I loved…

  • High-waisted - This continues to be one of my go-to silhouette when it comes to shorts because I find it so flattering. High-waisted shorts highlight my waist & upper body. (Front rise = 11.75’’)
  • Drawstring - I love the drawstring on these shorts because it makes them easy to put on. (aka No “shorts dance” required to put these on!)
  • Flowy - I find most shorts to be restrictive so I appreciate how comfortable the fabric is.

Garment measurements:

Waist = 28''

Inseam = 2''

Front rise = 11.75''
