SPRING '16 FASHION WEEK RECAP: THE STRUCTURED TOP

SPRING '16 FASHION WEEK RECAP: THE STRUCTURED TOP

Image 1 - Opening Ceremony

The asymmetrical hemline of this top is so cool. Looking at the photo I can tell this top is more of a cropped length, which is good for someone with a short torso like me. I'm always on the hunt for tops that are just the right length, and don't double as a dress.

Image 2 - 3.1 Phillip Lim

Love the square neckline, flutter sleeves and flared waist of this top from Phillip Lim. All of these elements make it a great style for a pear-shaped gal.

Image 3 - Milly

This top from Milly is made of such an interesting fabric. From a fit perspective what I love is that this top really shows off your shoulders. Since I'm pear-shaped, I like to flaunt my upper body.

Image 4 - Tory Burch

I love how fitted and structured this top is from Tory Burch. The V-neck line and V-shaped hemline are other great fit details. I think this top would be super flattering for someone with a short torso and small bust.

Image 5 - 3.1 Phillip Lim

If you look at this top up close, it has really beautiful texture. I think the shorter length of this top would make it a good fit.

Image 6 - Oscar de La Renta

You guys already know how much I love a defined waistline, which is one of the key elements of this top. What's so cool about this top from Oscar de La Renta it has volume, but it won't overwhelm at petite frame because of the defined waistline.
