Extended Style Notes

Earlier this week, I shared with you a few styles from the Reformation that didn’t fit me quite right, and now I’m sharing with you the full details of a style that did work for me - the Maddox Skirt. It's a flirty scalloped edge denim mini skirt. I think you guys have probably caught on by now that I'm super into grey denim this season.

Reformation Maddox Skirt - Size M

What I loved…

  • A- Line silhouette -  This silhouette for skirts is blowing up this season. I’ve seen it in almost every store. Curvy girl rejoice!
  • Scalloped-edge - You guys know the drill now, I’m all about an A Line skirt. So I’m always looking for ways to mix it up. For me, it’s all about the details. The scalloped-edge of this skirt spices things up!

What could be better…

  • A little short -  I wish this skirt was a little longer, so I could wear it to work. Since it’s on the shorter side, it's better for the weekend. (Skirt length = 15’’)

Garment measurements

Waist = 28.5’’

Length = 15’’

H&M Ribbed Knit Tank Top - Get ready, this is first of many turtleneck tank tops you are going to be seeing from me this fall season!

What I loved…

  • Stretchy - So glad knits are taking this season by storm because it means I get to wear ultra-stretchy garments that are comfy and forgiving!
  • Armholes -  The armholes on this tank are the perfect size, so this top isn’t too revealing from a side-boob perspective. (Armhole opening = 10”).

What could be better…

  • A little long -  This ribbed tank is a little long on me if I don’t tuck it into my pants or skirt. Since I tuck in my shirts a lot, it’s fine with me that it’s a little long! (Center front measurement = 22”)

Garment measurements:

Center front = 22’’

Center back = 23’’

Bust = 13.5’’ (27” total)

Turtleneck height = 2.5”

Turtleneck width (relaxed) = 6.75”

Armhole = 10”
